About Dani
Daniella Diaz is an architectural designer and maker whose work sits between architecture, craft, fabrication and material experimentation.
Originally trained in architecture in Panama, she later completed an MSc in Design & Make at the Architectural Association’s Hooke Park campus, graduating with Distinction. Her work explores the relationship between digital design and physical making, with particular experience in timber, prototyping, fabrication and developing ideas through direct engagement with materials.
Daniella’s experience spans architectural design, site coordination, community-led construction and creative practice. She has worked across projects from concept through to delivery, previously leading the construction of more than 30 emergency homes with TECHO Panamá and coordinating teams of volunteers, contractors and communities.
Her work has since gained international recognition. Her Design + Make project BespOak was exhibited during Milan Design Week 2026 and shortlisted for the 2026 Wood Awards, exploring how the natural irregularities of timber can become part of the design process rather than something to be removed.
Alongside design, Daniella has a strong interest in photography, visual storytelling, content and media and is incredibly talented at everything she turns her hand to. At Larsen Architecture, she works across architectural design, making, branding, content, events and client media, bringing the same curiosity and attention to detail to everything she does.

More than a designer
As the real boss behind Larsen Architecture, Daniella first came into our world through our Professional Development Membership, and almost immediately we know there was something special about her. Her portfolio was outstanding, her eye for detail was incredible and she had exactly the kind of creativity, drive, curiosity and humour we had been looking for. We wanted someone who understood design, but who was also excited by everything we are building beyond the traditional 9-5 world of architecture. With Dani, we found that person.
Her role stretches far beyond architectural design, working across our design projects, marketing, branding, content and media, supports our events and also works directly on media and content for our clients, who are constantly telling us how good she is at what she does. She brings design thinking and careful curation into everything, understands the bigger picture and has become an important part in how Larsen Architecture is evolving.
She ticks every box on paper, but more importantly, she fits the culture and the ambition of what we are trying to build. She is a designer, maker, creative thinker and a brilliant communicator all at once. A genuine triple threat!. And she even helps Ryan with his Spanish!
We feel incredibly lucky that our paths crossed, and even luckier that she is now part of the team.
