Why did we create this workshop?
Hi! 👋
My name is Ryan, creator of Larsen Architecture and our Professional Development Programme.
I am a multi-award winning Chartered Architect and a Registered Interior Designer.
I have always felt that there is a disconnect between what we learn to be successful designers and the essential skills needed to run a successful design business. I know how you feel because I have been there too! When I started my business I didn't know how to attract clients, how to price myself and how to manage a real business.
I felt that the 'one-size-fits-all' approach we are taught didn't allow for me to showcase my skills and my interests and stopped me from being able to find clients that respected my creativity and appreciated the value that I was bringing to their projects.
I believe we should be focused on unique solutions that allow designers to celebrate and share their individual talents, fostering creativity, better design and pushing the industry forward; and so, I created this programme - giving designers a chance to build their own businesses, and create their own unique career paths.

Design projects
First and foremost, I am a designer. I have spent years of my life learning and honing my design skills as this is my passion. I have been able to build a successful design business, in a short space of time, following the exact steps that I am going to share with you in this free workshop.
The Science behind what we do
Think of the teachers that had the biggest impact on you in school. These teachers were utilising both their innate and their acquired skillset in order to pass on their knowledge of the world to you. The teachers you will remember the most are probably the ones who were highly successful at passing on this knowledge without you even realising that you were involved in a learning process.
