You’re setting a great example that you CAN achieve a healthy work life balance in architecture, contrary to what most people have come to accept which is working tirelessly to meet unrealistic deadlines because “that’s just the way it is” which it doesn’t have to be.

I wanted to say thank you for all the support you’ve provided and your patience working with me that I really needed.

Now I feel like I’m stepping in to the next point of my career with a more positive outlook and open mind, the reflections and conversations we’ve had about this being a driving factor towards this.

I have learnt many things about professional application by working with the team and Ryan. I have gained more confidence in myself and how I carry myself. This programme is the real deal. Definitely enjoying the programme and has changed my mind a lot about how I see myself, how I present myself and what I actually want from architecture. I think knowing this is so important and although I knew it before hand, i didn't know how to communicate that efficiently. I think being out of the industry for a while made me forget that and it was about reconnecting with myself, my work and my values which has made me feel 10x more confident in being job ready. I've still a lot to work on and areas that need improving, but think I'm going to be ready to apply to practices confidently from Monday, which is less than 2 weeks since starting (much quicker than i anticipated).
