100% of our students say they would recommend us and our programme to someone looking for a job
I’ve realised that my own resistance to committing fully to a direction is probably my biggest blocker, not because I don’t care, but because I care so much I want it to be the right thing.
I feel a stronger persona emerging.
Having space to reflect with structure, and beginning to actually connect the dots between my past projects, my skillset, and where I want to go.
Alex Bellamy
Spatial Designer
I somehow felt it through the monitor screen that there are other people in the world who think about important things and want to explore the limits of architecture.
Your team was really friendly at communicating with me, answering all the 1000 questions. Your team is also humanely and it is rare. I mean I feel really grateful for your support and understanding during the process. Thank you!
Vera Safonova
Architect
Now I have a clear idea and vision on what I want to do and don't want to do.
I am really grateful that Ryan and Marc provided a lot of questions in this programme to help me become more critical and use all the information I have.
I am very impressed with this course and myself as well as I have never been self-critical before.
Ahmed Darouche
Visual Artist
I've gained valuable insights into my strengths and refined my niche, allowing me to be more transparent and authentic with my clients.
This journey has taught me the importance of standing firm on my values and earning respect by staying true to them. It’s not just about knowing what I offer but about ensuring my clients understand the value I bring and how it aligns with their needs. It's so great to have this kind of support because it feels like I’m not just doing this on my own. It’s really encouraging.
I’m starting to see how I can make my portfolio stand out for different audiences, and that’s something I hadn’t really thought about before.
Having someone who understands what I’m going through and can give real feedback has made a huge difference. It’s been so helpful.
Aaron Morrison
Part II Architectural Assistant
This opportunity helped and forced me to grow as a designer. I took on more responsibility and as it was a field I was not familiar with, I had to learn.
It all begins with you and you need to want something strong enough for you to decide to go for it. I am grateful for the day I decided to work on myself for I believe I wouldn't be typing this message right now.
Desree Lukele
Interior Designer
Confidence has grown knowing I have support network if I am struggling with any aspect of my career journey. The group discussion on CV structure and content was very useful as it explained how to tailor your CV depending on the language used in the job posting and also choosing applications that fit your personality and strengths.
A wide ranging programme with great online resources and both personal and group sessions to help you get to a position to feel confident and prepared for job interviews. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of resources on the Larsen website available.

WEEK 01 INTRODUCTION
WITHIN MONTH 01
OF THE PROGRAMME
This first week of the programme is about building your professional profile and will allow us to get to know you, your goals and your skills. We can then work with you to tailor your CV & Portfolio to target your dream job and stand out amongst applications.

Why did we create this programme?
Hi! 👋
My name is Ryan, creator of Larsen Architecture and this Career Accelerator Programme.
I am a practicing Chartered Architect and a Registered Interior Designer.
As someone who has come through the full design education system, I have always felt that there a standard, pre-determined career path that we are obliged to take, which results in a lack of individuality and creativity - something that we should be promoting within the design industry!
This 'one-size-fits-all' approach to design education leads to makes it difficult for people to stand out, to follow their passions and to get jobs. Meaning that young designers are left feeling undervalued and severely underpaid, especially compared to equally qualified students in other industries.
This is something that we are trying to tackle and is why we have created this programme. You should be able to carve your own career path, design your own future and get paid for it.

The Science behind what we do
Think of the teachers that had the biggest impact on you in school. These teachers were utilising both their innate and their acquired skillset in order to pass on their knowledge of the world to you. The teachers you will remember the most are probably the ones who were highly successful at passing on this knowledge without you even realising that you were involved in a learning process.
This type of learning is “hidden in plain sight” and is not easy to achieve.
But we have worked hard for years in order to develop a programme that does exactly this. We are able to provide you with the tools and resources that you need, whilst letting you focus on yourself, without feeling the pressure of traditional learning methodologies.
Our programme is grounded in the psychology of learning and development and is structured in order to help you discover your unique potential and purpose. Some of our biggest inspirations for the programme, from which you will benefit across all four stages (Discover, Build, Communicate, and Implement), are listed below:

In order to help you learn and implement the above, we utilise coaching methods and a series of resources that are scientifically proven to be impactful in your self-development journey:
-
Personalised one-to-one coaching and mentoring
-
Guidance through project development
-
High-impact communication to sell/market your brand’s identity to potential clients or employers
-
Self-directed learning to fit around your work and any study commitments
-
Spaced repetition helps solidify knowledge successfully and helps build a picture of this self-development journey
-
Continuous refinement through specific, focussed feedback
If you are ready to take action towards your future, book a call with us so we can walk you through the process.
