How we work
Our goal is to Rethink Architecture and how we as designers interact and build our careers.
Whether you come to us for Design, Coaching & Mentoring or Events, we keep it intentionally simple.
We get clear on the outcome that you want, whatever that might be. Then we create a solid plan with clear steps and decision points, so you are not guessing or overthinking.
From there, we deliver with structure and care so that the work stays high quality, efficient and fun!
Over a minimum of six months, we work with designers giving them tailored support and guidance, using a proven, step-by-step system that attracts high-value clients and builds consistent, reliable revenue.
We have not only built our own design business and taken it from 0 to £100,000 in 12 months, we have shown designers how to build consistent £10,000/month additional revenue and helped designers scale from £5,000 fees to confidently landing £50,000 fees in as little as three months.
It is about positioning and communication. A simple, framework that works every time.

Ryan Wenham is a Chartered Architect and Registered Interior Designer who has been recognised with multiple awards, including the Elmes Memorial Prize.
After training in Liverpool and Barcelona, he co-founded Larsen Architecture, where he now supports architects and designers in scaling their businesses, attracting high-quality clients, and building sustainable, fulfilling careers.

Design
Before anything else, I am a designer. Architecture and interiors are where I thrive. It's where my passion and creative come alive.
I have always felt that there is a disconnect between what we are taught to be good designers and what it takes to create work that genuinely stands out in the real world.
I feel that the 'one-size-fits-all' approach doesn't work. Every project deserves a response that is specific to the people, the place and the brief, and that is exactly how we design. Our approach is simple. We create unique architectural responses that are functional and beautifully delivered. I have worked across the UK and Spain, mostly on luxury residential projects, and my work has been featured in two international architecture biennales, as well as being part of an award winning design team. I have worked on high-profile schemes, including a landmark regeneration programme on the UK’s largest brownfield sites. We are not about trend or just simply "looking good”. We are here to create designs that feel intentional, and that works. I am a designer that brings a clear point of view, that pushes for quality and makes every project feel calm and professional. We love what we do, and it shows in every aspect of our design work.
Coaching & Mentoring
This started as a small competition and a platform to give designers a platform to be seen, celebrated and showcase their talent, that was published in the AJ.
This quickly became something bigger and is now an international, award-winning programme built for designers who know they have talent, but want the confidence, clarity and business skill to match it.
Ryan started out selling drawings and freelancing. And this has now turned into a 6-figure design business.
We are in the industry, and we lead by example - that’s what makes us different.
Ryan brings the design-world reality, delivering multi-million pound projects with dream clients. Lived experience that we bring to everything we teach. Marc brings the psychology and performance side. He helps designers understand who they need to be to run their business and build the life they want, focusing on those important aspects that design school doesn’t teach us; confidence, boundaries, people pleasing and learning how to talk about money. We help you find your voice and your niche, then we build a clear path to turn your talent into a business that works for you. We focus on how to attract the right clients, how to communicate your value properly, and how to deliver a premium service that clients trust and respect. Then we support you to raise your fees with confidence, increase revenue, and build something that feels stable and exciting. We are not interested in quick fixes or generic advice. We build around you, your strengths, your style and the work you actually want to be known for.
Events
We love to be in a room with people. Good design doesn’t happen in isolation, it comes through collaboration.
Marc has travelled all over the UK delivering and hosting to audiences of hundreds of people. He knows how to hold attention, be his authentic self on stage, and create an atmosphere where people feel safe. Ryan has also travelled the country sharing the kind go practical, straight-talking content that genuinely changes how people think and move in their careers, businesses and in their life.
We host our own events, specifically for designers called the Designer Studio. They’re built to help you build your career, build a successful business, make the right connections and to feel part of a supportive community. You get honest advice, useful frameworks and a room full of supportive, like-minded, ambitious people who are there to life you up. We collaborate with major events as hosts and content partners. We are currently working with Design Central, the UK’s biggest design trade show outside of London, where we’ll be working alongside the team to host the event and deliver business-focused content designed to help designers from across the country grow properly. We are proud to be partnering with Design Central for their 10th anniversary edition at the incredible Capesthorne Hall in September 2026.
Design Central has built the largest design focused trade show outside of London, bringing together a community of designers and exhibitors, and we are excited to be collaborating to make this milestone year truly special.
Larsen Architecture will be supporting the event with a business-focused programme designed to add even more value for attending designers.
Marc will be hosting across the two-days, guiding the experience so it feels seamless, energised and memorable, while Ryan will deliver practical sessions and interview guests, centred on topics designers care about most; from attracting high-value clients to building commercial confidence and stronger supplier relationships.
